Default A fine 2010 and the fine place where she sleeps

I looked for my 2010 for three years and things didn't go well at first. Long story short--Transport from Texas to LA. Pics on Autotrader showed she was in great shape-(uh, NO)-New paint job for $10k (-$500 ded). I no longer think about those days. Now I'm thankful for our great weather and all the days she is top-down. The following shows how she looks now and my Man Cave by days and SC lounge by night. The conversion takes less than 3 minutes.

The little SCs with the big. The trunk was transported from the 2002 to the 2010. The Lexus throws protect the back seat when the need to carry things in the back are needed.

And the last of my spoiled SC. Lest you think how spoiled this old guy is in the warm california sun, I spent the first half of my life in the Chicago area! Just for contrast in weather. LOL

Oh and the license plate means I got one of the 329 SC 430's that were built in the last year of production, 2010. Well worth the three years I looked and waited. and worth the $15k more that I paid for it after selling my 02 SC.

John, really great pics. Your SC leads a pampered life. My 2005 TAP/Ecru does daily driver duty and is now sitting in airport parking waiting for me to pick her up when I get back into town tomorrow evening. At least she is in covered parking ... She is generally well taken care of but nothing like yours. Congrats on keeping your SC in such a perfect environment.

Thanks, OBD. It's great that the young folks on CL can afford to get into a SC and utilize what is basically a two seater. I feel that after teaching 42+ years (and still doing it part time) you need to just kick back and enjoy life. When I was younger busting my butt to raise my three kids, I couldn't think of owning a car like this. Now it's time to enjoy and even though my 2010 has only 30k miles on it, it gets used everyday (w/top down), back and forth to school-all 5 miles!
