I appreciate all the good suggestions. Since I'm a marginal mechanic, I especially appreciate the focus on easy fixes.

What is it about this car that makes me want to spend money on it? That has never been me. I never skimped on maintenance but had not felt motivated to go further.

The transmission pressure adjustment sounds sensible. How much of an MPG hit comes with the Sprint Booster?

The value of my '05 with 45k miles has depreciated sufficiently that it has reached the point why sell it since it looks new and runs well. Instead, it's time to mod and have some fun.

Am I just paranoid or if the booster fail at the wrong time one could lost control of throttle? $300 is small enough investment but hitting a tree or off a cliff .......

I really like to fill up the space in the wheel well, but I don't like super low profile tires. For me rRide comfort over ultimate handling. What would be best way to go?

I couldn't beleive the improvement in performance. These run about $600. Most people could probably do the install.
Sounded like good investment, a definite GO.

How loud will it be? I really love the stock exhaust note, but it just need another 10db or so, so ideally for me, a somewhat louder stock, possible?

Then they reattach the pan and fill the fluid again. Don't remember my cost but it was basically the same charge as a trans fluid flush. No new parts needed.

It's not loud at all. It's just right IMO. My girlfriend noticed too and said it sounded and looked cool :-)

I think if the sprint booster fails it goes back to stock. I have had it two years no problem but not on all the time due to drain in mpg
