Check engine light on right after purchase HEL

Just wanted to update:
You guys nailed it. I opened up the hood with the 0.0001% chance that i'd see something "simple", and what do you know....
The vacuum hose was completely separated. Pushed it back in place, unplugged the battery and reconnected, and presto, VSC, VSC OFF and CHECK ENGINE lights went off.
As for the TPMS light, I ended up asking my local dealer to diagnose. They determined that the front-right sensor was dead (most likely due to the internal battery). $285 later and the light is off. My service manager at our local Lexus dealer contacted the dealer we bought it from, and they agreed to reimburse me!
So, all problems fixed free of charge!
Thanks everyone for the help!
