And if I tire of the look, 20 minutes with a heat gun and I'm back to stock. Currently, I'm happy with the fitment (which was spot on) and the color match, which is close enough for these old eyes.
Why thank you sir, yes Ive been doing this for a couple of years as side business and has been taking off for a bit which is busy but great. Very nice, it looks good. Looks like it matches pretty decent as well, if I may ask what kit did you buy? (ebay?) and what color wood was it? Thanks!

Really curious about what kit you used aswell, and also which shift ****!!! Im tired of this steering wheel and shift **** not matching. That insight would be great too, was looking at other Lexus model shift ***** in all wood, or wood and black leather but haven't found anything. Thank you aswell!

Google search shows http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com...s/_Lexus-SC430
For Autoaccessories who sells the Sherwood Innovations Factory Match Dash Kit, as it had the pieces that I was looking for. Color is Walnut Burl along with the shift below.

I found this shift on fleebay. The original had faded and this is a perfect match.

I think (although I'm not expert) that all Toyota / Lexus automatic transmissions have a common shaft and thread.
I know that my Avalon, RX350 and SC430 are common. So search for "Lexus Burl shift".
Good luck

Ok well this is the one I ordered hopefully its the same one as yours. It looks like it is just hope the grain matches but I believe it should.

I give you permission to mod or not mod your SC any way you wish.
That's the fun and the freedom that we enjoy, as we are the only one behind the wheel.

Though the match isn't perfect (but pretty close) I do like the look of the wood on the armrest. It adds a nice touch. Not sure about the other pieces. Looks like it fits well
