Bridgestone DriveGuard Tires.
I'm still planning on having a set of Michelin A/S3 tires installed at Costco in July, but curious about the new Bridgestone DriveGuard Tires. Anybody have any comments or info on this tire?

My firestone dealer really pushed them last week. I had just bought a set of new Duellers for my SUV when the topic of a run flat alternative for my SC430 came up. He was not sure Firestone would allow him to install them on an SC as it was a factory OEM run flat car. I think they might be the perfect low price alternative to the run flats. especially if they ride and handle like a regular tire. I don't mind buying a new one if it goes bad. They are nearly half price of traditional run flats. The rep is checking to see if he can install them on my 02 SC430. I don't really need tires quite yet but it would be great to get way from the Run Flat handling and ride issues. RKTINC

I just purchased an 02 with a new set of them on it.
I have to say I am impressed so far.
The ride is far superior to some run flats I have had in the past.
You still get a little harshness over bumps but overall not a bad ride.
They supposedly have a longer life. Time will tell.
