Are you sure 2002 GS300 rear shocks fit 2002 SC430?

...yes sir......I just check my invoice( part # 24-028035.) .I bought them from Parts Geek back in Jan2013. I went to there site to double check & they don't carry Bilstein anymore. I then went to Bilstein site & the part # (given above) pulls up the GS....so hope this helps. I also know barcardi & a few others went with GS shocks

So, what about KYB? Can anyone confirm that the 2002 GS rears will fit too? Thank you.

KYB does not list the GS300 Shocks 341267 as fitting the SC430.

Weird, the front 341266 is an OE direct replacement for the front. 341267 seems to be good for the rear, but we really do not know. 341267 shows as not fitting the SC430.

If you simply search across the net, no KYB fits the Rear for our SC430.

..The brand shouldn't matter,as long as they fit the 2002 GS.I just choose the Bilstein because they are a bit stiffer than KYB & my car is lowered. Also let me correct something from my post (#32) yesterday. Parts Geek still carries the Bilstein shock. Parts Geek parts # is.....W0133-1911223 & Bilsteins parts # is....24-028035...after I looked again, I noticed my invoice had 2 parts #'s listed on it.

How much are the Bilsteins (GS300) and are they plug and play?

Sewell has the shocks for $185 EA plus shipping...

.....when i first started looking a couple of years back, I noticed this also.I did buy KYB for my front, because I thought this was my only option & at that time, couldn't find anything for the rear. But in the latter part of 2012, there were 2active threads (I think...lol) about options for front & rear shocks. I can't remember who it was,but they found out that the GS & SC shared the same rear shocks. In Jan. 2013, I took the leap of faith & bought the rears for the GS & they bolted right up to my SC

...you might have to search around & see who has the best price on them. I'm looking at Parts Geek website now. They have the Bilstein listed for $140. & they have the KYB listed for $ 89.23...the KYB shows 2 in stock, only 1 of the Bilstein

I use shockwarehouse.com. Their prices are similar to Parts Geek.

Do have a question regarding all these...
So the Bilstein shocks from GS300 WILL fit in our SC. Now, there is the Bilstein PSS System that fit the GS300, they will also fit our SC as well?

Do the rear shocks from the GS300 need to be internally modified by Bilstein to fit our SC properly? I recall this was necessary step for the rear shocks.

...now I didn't do mine, but Bacardi had his done. He read that the travel distance of the shocks were different & felt like it should be done. I bolted mine up & have had no issues. My car is lowered on Tein Sports (1.5-2in) & I'm running 275/35/18 with 9.5in wheels on the rear....also no rubbing
