After replacing my battery I noticed that my intermittent throttle LAG is now gone. Could it be the computer reset it self after battery was disconnected? The car is like a rocket now.

The lag is there its just part of the drive by wire effect. There are throttle controllers that make it seem like its gone by making the pedal more sensitive.

I doubt that any reset would do anything. unless there was an issue with your throttle controller. The ecu does relearn driving habits after a reset and this maybe what your experiencing.
