Default Nav Screen Lighting

Hey guys have a question concerning the nav screens lighting/dimming. If I'm correct, doesn't the nav screen appear dark with highlighted details, at nighttime & during the daylight, the screen is bright (white) with dark details ??? The other night I got into the car & turned on the nav system. It appeared normal (dark screen), but suddenly switched to the light screen.I thought it may have something to do with the dimmer switch, but i turned it on/off with no change. Is there something that I may be forgetting to try or could it be the sensor that lets it know whether it's night or day ??? Also, is that the sensor located on the dash (passenger side) ???

There's a setting for the color schemes on the DVD menu options. It will toggle between day and night but you MUST keep the dimmer switch at a position other than "Full On."

Glad to hear it was that easy! Always better to start with the simple fixes rather than diving into the complicated (and usually expensive) remedies.
