Default Need Help in Identifying Right Part #'s

I am looking for some help from the experts on this forum in identifying the right part numbers for new front and rear calipers for my 2002 SC430. I am planning to order from Sewell Parts (with our great club discount), but when I went to actually place the order, I became confused as to which parts I really need...........

I am planning on having these new calipers powder coated and then put on (along with new drilled rotors and new wheels), so I wanted to make sure that I got the right parts before I had them sent out for powder coating (and rendered non-returnable). I am not very mechanically inclined at all (generous statement) so I'll be having my trusted, local mechanic install them for me. Any help from the members here would be appreciated.

Michael why don't you have your mechanic remove your existing calipers to have them coated? Are they that bad that you need to order new parts?

Second thought! Unless you are planning to use your existing calipers, and are looking to rebuild them with a clinder kit. If this is the case and all other parts are in good reusable condition, then you need part # 04479 (x2) for your front calipers, and part # 04479A (x2) for the rear calipers.

Darthsid thats a good idea to just rebuild.. or buy rebuilt ones and youll get money back for your cores.. I think its a waste to buy brand new, there not cheap..

on the other hand I noticed these on the classifieds

Supra Front BBK..

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...brake-kit.html

his asking price is not bad at all for calipers, lines and rotors/pads.. just not sure of the rotor/pad brand.. but I have seen those just those calipers go for 600+ used.. even on ebay! but then again for these you will need aftermarket rims that clear these big calipers..
