SC430 Custom Exhaust
Some of you might of followed my exhaust build thread on my 99 SC400.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...collector.html
I put a lot of time and money into the R&D of an exhaust system that will give you the perfect combination of performance, sound (no drone) and not lose low end torque.
This new system also incorporates the special high torque merge collector design by jbrady.
This type of merge collector has been dyno proven to maintain the maximum torque especially in the low end of the curve.(fun zone) The system parts are 304 stainless pipe, Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator, Vibrant Streetpower mufflers and Vibrant 4" tips. Custom built by master welder/fabricator Kenny Butcher. The next on the list is PPE Headers and I'm working on different intake ideas.

Outstanding!!!
Anyone wanting to build a system that is superior to both the stock system and almost any other aftermarket system (I say almost because while improbable anything is possible) need look no farther. Of course this system is expensive because it combines excellent engineering, componentry and critically important the expert craftsmanship of Kenny Butler.
Question: first driving impressions?

The car feels much more responsive then stock. I think it pulls harder then the SC400 did with just the exhaust but nothing like the 400 is with the BFI, Headers and 3.73 gears.
The parts cost on the new system was $800 plus Kennys labour.
I'm not going to dyno it until I get the headers and decide what to do with the intake.

That looks gorgeous.
And I'm still enjoying the previous work of art you constructed on your old 400. It puts a smile on my face everytime I step into the car And I'm still ecstatic that I was able to get my hands on this car!

scEnforcer, yes you really are quite lucky to have bcsc400s' old SC. You should add KB Ypipe to your sig as it is one of the key performance items and very rare with only one other in existence (top of thread) and one other copy built by sprcr771
