First of all, I want to thank bacardi11,DarthSid and others that have contributed to make this upgrade easy to understand and possible.
I have purchased the rear bar set from Sewell and from Canada the front bar along with new front bushings from other source. However, the front bar I've gotten from Canada (Moe) was NOT a solid bar, it was a hollow bar. I am very disappointed with this order and had just email Moe regarding this matter. Hopefully we can have a satisfactory result.
The installation was really simple and straightforward. I can feel the difference from my short test drive already. The rear does have the biggest feel to me specially over a small bump and quick lane change. The front didn't give me any better impression of improvement, maybe because of the hollow bar I've gotten, or maybe it's just me. But none the less I do recommend this upgrade to all our members. Once again, big thanks to all the contributors.

My front gs400 sway bar didn't seem to give me any improved gangling either? How do you know if it is hollow or not?

From the end of the bar, yon can see the folding together to make a flat end. AND it weights a whole lot less then the smaller OEM bar.

I don't think the hollow bar makes any improvement but only the weight savings. When I was racing Porches in the old days, I did buy size bigger roll bars but hollowed (4mm thicker) to save weight but not performance.

Is there a front sway bar that is not hollow? I think Greg runs a TRD?

Well, according to bacardi11 the bar he bought was a solid bar. Given the known fact, I would have just upgraded the rear and kept the front unchanged. Maybe just upgrade the front bushings to poly that's al. I still think the improvement overall was there but just not as expected much.
FYI, Moe replied and said that he sold me just as advertised, I guess it was me that did not ask and just assumed. If this were ordered in States I would have returned it. But Canada? I'll just have to eaten it.

Same exact thing happened to me. With Moe also. I think he specifically advertises in that way. I did the exact same thing you did; ordered it, found out after that a solid bar was possible, asked for return, too expensive to ship. Stuck with it now. Adding the Cusco STB def helped improve front suspension to the hallow bar. Rear was def the huge game changer overall though.

Since some you are using the GS400 sways bar.. Here's another alternative that you will definitely feel since these are larger in diameter..

Hi Guys;

I have a 2002 sc and hated the ride so the first thing I did was get rid of the run flat tires...WOW!

Interesting thread indeed. Im in Hawaii and have noticed a squeak or creek when I go over bumps at low speeds. My mechanic here says it is sway bar bushing and quoted me 195 bucks. Seems high for one bushing...rip off?

Also...Im now interested in replacing both sway bars...from what you all say?...sounds like a big difference. Could you all please comment as to what difference I will feel in handling? I can't really "punch it" down here but I do appreciated smooth rides.

Also----to confirm...what parts do I order and where?

Thanks to all

If it were making squeaky and creaky sound and assuming it come from the bushings, you can check them and lube them with urethane grease first to see if they were in fact the noise maker before you spend bigger bucks.
They are pretty easy to get to and lube them.
