Sway Bar
#123
The rear stabilizer links are 1/2" shorter than the OEM links. Just make sure you loosen the bottom bolt that holds the shock in place on the arm; otherwise you will have a very hard time removing/installing the link. These links have the correct bolt size opening as the 17mm rear sway bar.

Can the rear sway bar mod cause the Automatic Headlight Leveling System Warning Light to illuminate on the cluster? I can't figure out what other mod could cause my light to come on and go off sporadically. As I read that the rear of the car has the headlight leveling sensors. Any help is appreciated.
I'm not sure how much mileage your car has but could that just mean that sensor is going? Mine was doing the same thing... On and off constantly and after few months it just stopped working so I gotta replace it now. Unless you fixed the issue?

So here's my update (38,000 miles)... I changed to the recommended PU Fig bushings and while my mechanic had the car up, he checked the headlight sensor as indicated on this thread. Indeed it was out of place and slightly bent. He was able to realign it and headlight sensor warning light went away. No problems so far. Knock wood. As for the bars, I still have the hollow core front bar as I can't afford the solid core. Therefore, I feel the front is about the same as stock but the rear def handles much better. While on the rack, my mechanic also noticed that my passenger rear spring has moved out of place and is possibly hitting the rear stabilizer link causing a "clank." Another repair for another day, I guess (maybe when I decide to change to coilovers).

That's perfect. My car is also lowered a bit over one inch in the rear. The thread I posted with the links will fit perfectly with the ISF 17mm sway bar. Also order the urethane bushings from Fig Eng.

For club members interested in upgrading the rear sway bar please take notice Sewell has recently updated their website for part number 48812-30400 which can now be located under SC430 vs ISF 2008. The part price has also increased from $93 to $136.04 for Sewell members.
