Last time I saw some brave soul fit this to a Lexus $30 engine, they said this kit added about 55 bhp at the wheels for $12,000 dollars running correctly, and people were afraid the engine and gearbox wouldn't be able for the extra horses. I would love to see one done and running for a year or so.
Will this be available for public sale, and what HP gains can one expect for it?
The Greddy supercharger was produced a few years back and from what I found out, seems like there are 4 kits ever existed, and this kit I have is the most complete with all the brackets and parts. Similar to the TOM'S supercharger in design, which MSRP for about $10,000, it makes about 60 hp at the wheel.
I wouldn't say unsafe but it will not last to long with the stock 4.3 unbuilt with a supercharger. would not run that engine over 6 psi. can't wait to see how it run. great job looks great.
