Default Traded in LS430 for SC430

Well after three months of searching, I finally found the SC that I buckled down and picked

I originally wanted Black exterior with the camel interior but everytime I found one, it was out of price range or to far away. My local Lexus Dealership had this beauty on the lot and I forgot all about the grey color but it had the interior that I had my heart set on so went out there that Saturday and purchased it and I couldn't be happier. Named her Jewel

I use to have a 2004 Modern Luxury LS430 and althought I miss the room that it had, I'm only 27 years old and I just wanted something a lil more youthful.

Only thing I want to change is the wheels. I like these & don't want to change the size at all but I feel like a nice set of the wheels attached would work. 18" is just fine. What do you think? anyone knows how to photoshop them on the car so I can have a good idea of what it would look like?

Congrats, what is this exterior color called. Looks very beautiful. How many miles and how much was it ? Like you I am thinking of new 18x8s for my 2005. The wheel you posted is a mesh style wheel and it should look pretty nice. Sort of like an updated version of the Lexus G-spider wheels. BTW there are a few Lexus dealers on eBay selling OEM Lexus G-spider wheels in case you want to stay with Lexus.

The color is called Smoky Granite Mica. It has 69k miles on it now and paid 30k for it. Im sure i overpaid for it but I got tired of waiting and wanted it then and there. I know about the G Spider wheels but the wheel i have pictures has a concave look to them which I would more so prefer. I am really happy with the purchase and I love the car. So glad I went ahead and got her

AJL, check out Tirerack.com and find some rims that you might like and choose "View on Vehicle." That's a decent was to get an idea of what certain wheels might looks like...

I liked this site's wheel visualizer, but it seems to be down for the moment. http://www.autowaretech3.net/nextwhe...tire_intro.htm Good Luck.

thank you for the compliment guys, really appreciate them!

I'm still torn on what type of wheels to purchase. The ones shown above or a a set of wheels with a nice silver with machined lip to them. obviously i want to stick with the same size. I like it to look like it is sitting low, not planning on lowering it what so ever.

The smaller the wheel is the larger the gap is in the fender.. with 20's and 35 series tires I have about 2 inch gap.. so the smaller you go, youll see more of your tires and inside.

I prefer 20's with gun metal grey center(for your car) and stainless steel/chrome lips.. that style stands out most on this car in my opinion. The first thing that was on my mind though is that I wanted the wheels to be close to fender line, it takes out the real beauty of this car, gives it a nice aggressive/exotic look! but if your planning to stick with 18 thats fine too, just find something staggered !

search some pics, there are many threads with pics if someone could point some out?, make sure you find exactly what you want so later you dont waste money on more!

Goodluck

Check out Lumarai wheels through Getyourwheels.com. Silver staggered (18x8 and 18x9.5) Morro's with diamond cut lip. That's what I picked for mine. Hubcentric for Lexus. Uses stock wheel nuts and center caps.
