You mean to have the rotors turned [ cut ] to remove any high spots. The front pads should cost approx. dealer charges parts 125.00 + labor could be at total cost 375.00.

Default Toyota Dealer

If you're not interested in getting your hands dirty, check with your local Toyota dealer. They will do the exact same job as the Lexus dealer for possibly quite a bit less.

That sounds about right for dealer price. Might want to check if your OEM rotors have the required thickness left to get turned ( cut ). Mine were too thin after I started getting the shakes at about 50 or 55 k miles. Replaced and switched to after market slotted rotors and absolutely no regrets.

I don't believe in cutting the rotors. when I did my brakes, I got some good rotors and pads and my mechanic replaced them.
no dealership did the work.

Cutting the rotors once should be ok.

I have done that to a number of my cars without any issues.

I am having the airbag recall work done by the dealer now and he just called me and said that the rear breaks were almost metal on metal and needed to be fixed, for $299.

The pads on the rear should have a squeal tab. They should never have gotten that low without you knowing it.
