Default Brembo Big Brake Kit SC430 Rear

I've read where someone upgraded their OEM rear calipers and rotors with the Brembo BBK. Last year I upgraded my front brakes with the Brembo BBK. When I researched Brembo's listings, they don't have a BBK for the SC430. They do make a rear kit for other Lexus models. Is there someone out there who has successfully accomplished this? Please let me know. Thanks

i thought the SC and 2nd Gen GS models shared the same brakes? If so then Brembo BBK for GS will fit SC.

I also have the Brembo BBK for the front. They dont make it for the rear. Would be nice if the GS would fit. Dont know anything about it though.

I know its possible to get some brembo oem replacement rotors and pads for the rear. Dont know how much better than oem they would be??

My custom powdercoat finish:

Thanks. But just looked at the list on Brembo's website and they dont make rear calipers for the GS either :-(

it will look stupid with another BBK brand for the rear. I will just go for the Brembo brake pads. Get the oem calipers painted the same color and see if that is enough stopping power for me.

I learned that at one time Brembo made a rear BBK for the SC430. For know the kit is discontinued for the SC430 model and can be ordered as a special order through Brembo. The drawback is that they're not cheap. Brembo is willing to make a rear BBK two piece 345mm drilled rotors with four piston calipers. Special orders equal to a non refundable item. I'm still on the fence.

Default Rear Brembo BBK

Last week I upgraded my rear OEM brakes with the Brembo Rear Kit. I special ordered the kit through Need4Speed. The turn-around time was only two weeks. I must add my car is now balanced. The rear brakes are a plus in braking and aesthetics. I'm posting one picture for now with more to follow soon.
