I emailed Mathieu with a copy of the Manual and requested translation, soon as received, I will share. I also have a buddy who can read Japanese. We will torque it right.

The instructions were Japanese and I wanted to know what the torque was. I may need to scan and translate. For now I did it tight, same feel as when I broke it loose which was real tight.
But the right torque has to be applied. Obviously there are lot of forces applied on the 3 bolts.

My bar is in the mail. As not having it yet and understanding from above that the instructions may state a torque in other than ft-lb, has there been any confirmation on proper torque in ft-lb or just good old honking tight?

Great news. I'll be taking my car in for service in two weeks and I plan on removing my tower bar. Why? Because I'm afraid the service mechanic will mar my beautifully pristine polished tower bar. 🙈
