I have a low mileage 2002 SC 430, and want to change the timing belt, water pump, rings, etc, as many do on this forum for piece of mind. Sewell has an excellent price on the timing belt/water pump kit, which i want to purchase and then have a qualified mechanic install for me. I live in the Atlanta, GA area, specifically Marietta and called a garage that specializes in Lexus maintenance, and requested if they would install for labor only. Short answer, no, because they can't guarantee the parts. Does anyone know a qualified Lexus mechanic in this area that will do labor only work?
