Is there a "how to" to change the driver side?

Does anyone know where the actuator is located? I removed the driver side and cannot locate the actuator

Had my SC430 for 8 days, the driver side lock won't automatically open with remote.
I can hear the click but the inside latch won't turn.
Sounds like this actuator went out.
just ordered the pair - mind as well get 2 and change out both sides from Amazon as listed above.
Now, begins the "fun" part of reviewing these steps and videos
Hope I can do this.

i have had two sitting on my work bench for months, mine work when the car is cool but only make noise when it's hot...one of these days, I will fix them along with the four actuators in the HVAC.

BTW, congratulations on the new SC430 acquisition!

Thanks!!
I just went to lunch and stopped at the Lexus dealer to get service history.
very nice service rep provided me with printout.
will need some maintenance: he suggested spark plugs, belts, fluids....
probably will need new brake pads and water pump
i went back to my car and was able to unlock & lock....but then not able to unlock..so intermittently works and then not, thus it is probably gotten worn & slipping inside.

sounds like you have some catching up to do... I may have missed it but what year and how many miles do you have?

i sure hope you can do some of the work or have plenty of money for the work...the work you listed could be up to $2500 at a Lexus dealer.
the timing belt, water pump etc is a big job on this car.

Yup. I understand.
It's a 2006 with 118K
I know. I have my mechanic friend that will do this check list for me, a whole lot cheaper.
I will be handling him the tools, the right tools I hope.
