It may fit. However the RX350 set was not designed for the SC. I have seen them and they are not as elegant looking.

Suggest that he buys them and turn around and sell them, then use the proceeds to get an upgraded set for the SC.

So here are the specs of an sc430 stock wheel and rx350 stock wheel:

SC430 oem wheels dimension: 18x8"
Offset: +45 offset
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3
Hub Center Bore Diameter: 60.1mm

rx350 oem wheels dimension: 18x7.5" or 19x7.5"
Offset: +35 offset
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3
Hub Center Bore Diameter: 60.1mm

so here is the deal.. YES they will FIT but rx350 wheels are 0.5" less in width but there offset is 10mm (0.4") less then sc430 wheels so they will stick out exactly as far as the stock sc430 wheels. Its a luxury sporty looking car and all lexus stock wheels sit inside the fender very deep + they aren't that wide so they look ugly. (pic below)

and since i don't like the idea of spacers, for a perfect look go for 20" wheels 8.5" wide in front and 10" wide in rear with offset around +20 to +23mm so they will match the fender lines perfectly giving the car a nice staggered aggressive look. Go with something VIP style.. (pic below with nice wide wheels matching fender line)

but if your friend still wants the rx wheels, yes they will fit you will just need to get smaller tires.. something like: 225/35/18 or 19.. keep in mind though, tires arent cheap for 18's and 19's because they are the most common used sizes.

According to Sewell Lexus Parts site 5-114.3, so at least the bolt pattern should be OK

The 19" optional triple split 5-Spoke wheels are listed as being compatable with SC430, but not others.

Toyota-Lexus (in fact Honda-Acura) have the same specs on bolt pattern, however Hub diameters differ, though.

I am interested in doing the same with RX350 18x8 35 offset. Was told that the wheel design of the RX may not fit due to the bigger brakes on the SC430. Did you try the wheels on your car?
