Volume on radio sometimes not working....
Hi - sometimes the volume button on the stereo nor the buttons on the steering button do not increase or decrease the volume. I can turn the stereo on and off - still the same. If I turn the engine off and on - this issue goes away. It's only just started happening in the past few weeks. Any ideas?
Cheers.

Happened to me recently. I reset, by disconnecting the battery. All solved.

Oh no, sounds like the start of the dreaded amp headaches that many people have described on this forum. Possibly search for "SC430 amp," or "SC430 Volume Problems." There are quite a few threads out there about them. Long story short, there was a Service Bulletin b'c the amp fails with time and then starts to manifest by strange occurrences with the stereo head unit. Keep us posted on what you find out, please. Thanks.

Oh no, I forgot about that, hopefully mine's still OK.

I've had that problem, on and off, on my '03.
It's happened...maybe 5 or 6 times in the 6 years I've owned it.
Like you said...turn the ignition off then back on again and everything is right with the world.
It happens.
