New SC430 owner from Illinois
Two years ago I dreamed of buying my wife a Lexus RX350 and then after saving up more money, buying a hardtop convertible. At the time I was debating between a Lexus IS-C and a BMW 3 series. Ultimately, I decided I'm way too loyal to legendary Toyota reliability to buy a euro-time-bomb BMW. A bit over a year ago, we bought our 2010 RX350. On June 5th, 2013, we drove the RX to St. Louis to pick up my new 2006 SC430.

Congrates on your new ride. May you enjoy many miles of trouble free motoring. I'm sure you will like your ride as much as the rest of us do. Nice color combo also.

You won't believe how many compliments you will get.
Rarely does a week go by when someone doesn't say "nice car"
This week I got 2 separate complements in the supermarket parking lot, one from a teacher while picking up my grandson from school and today one from a real estate agent I talked to.

I made it about 45 minutes before my first compliment. My wife and I picked up the SC and drove straight out to St. Charles, MO to check out a house our son had just put an offer on. As we spotted the house and began to slow, a honk came from behind. I pulled to the right and waved the gentleman in a Mercury Grand Marquis around only to have him pull along side and roll down his passenger window. He proclaimed that he had been following me and admiring my car and wished to let me know that he really thought it was a nice machine. I was delighted to thank him for the compliment and then turned to my wife to say, "Well, that didn't take long."
On a related note, we found out yesterday that our son's offer on the house was accepted and now he's not only a rock star, but a home owner as well.

^ As a longtime guitar player 40 years, though not as a career...congrats on your car, and your son if he is a rockstar.
Music biz sure has changed over last 30 years. WOW.
Be sure to point out your car's cassette player to your son.

Cassette Deck
Oh, he remembers me rockin' the cassettes in the tape deck in my 1985 Lincoln Mark VII LSC when he was a kid. That car ultimately became his first car. I'm diggin' the tape deck in my new SC. Broke out some cassettes from back in high school and was jammin' some Lynyrd Skynyrd and Van Halen just today.
Here's a
of my son's band.
