It improved body rigidity very much.

i was looking at the GT86 trd parts catalog here the other day and also saw this and wondering how much it would help, and if it was available for the SC430. But the ones for the GT86 is a direct fit for the SC430?

Rouge, what improvements have you noticed from it? By body rigidity, what are you referring to? (I think that we all have our own expectations of what that means but have divergent actual meanings.)

SC430 which is a convertible has a weak body, and when running the rough road surface, it feels vibration that the body is twisted.
This door stabilizer is stuck as one of measures.

This makes a lot of sense as an upgrade that will make a difference. I say this because I've had my SC430 on jacks and jack stands on all 4 corners with the top up and was very surprised to find that the chassis flexed way more than I ever would have expected. It was enough that when opening the doors, there was interference at the windows. The ground was likely not flat, the jacks may have been slightly uneven. All the same, it was still surprising to me that there was this much displacement.

I have the same problem with the window when the car is on the lift and lifted in the 4 corners. So i really want to get these as well. Just saw that rouge made two links in the first post with DIY with pictures and description in japanese. I used google translate and it seems that you need to test with different spacers to get the right fitment for each door.

Im sure this will help alot on body roll. And for about $180 it should be a great mod.

Do you propose both Tom's Front Brace and the TRD door device or the door device doesnt add much to the Tom's?

Perhaps the TRD device is a big improvement if you dont have anything else?

YES.

Although I equipped only with the door device first, big effect sufficient by just it was able to be felt.
Front brace was attached after that, rigidity became good further.
I propose both of wearing.

This door stabilizer sounds amazing.

In essence you are increasing the surface contact between the door and the frame. Making it a solid piece and that helps with the twisting force when on rough roads.

Makes absolute sense.
