Default Help with rebuilting SC430?

Hi guys, I was wondering how much it would take to fix this SC. They're letting her go for pretty cheap. Its a 2002 with 67k on it, needs alot of TLC in the front. Would be using used parts and most likely going to a local body shop. What would a ball park quote be? $4k, $5k, or $6k? Thanks CL

Convertibles rarely fit right after such a wreck. I would not take it on.

I would look for another sc with a bad powertrain and swap in this one.

Just my $.02

I don't think I'd tackle that one! But that's me. If I were to go for it I'd go with after market fenders and a ground effects all the way around. Maybe even a different hood. I bet that list is going to be a lot longer by the time you get through.

If you open a trash can you usually don't find gold or money. You usually find trash. Unless your a top mechanic and have the time and the place to store car and do the work. I would move on. Busted up lexus sc430 are like a box of candy you never know what your gonnah get .

If you can buy it for $ 1500.00 You should be able to part it out and make a great profit. .

Default Title

What kind of title does it have, clear or salvage? Makes a big difference $ wise when you sell.

Agreed with Slingshot1. If the title is clean I would take it for $1000.00. Parting the car is worth more than $1000
