Interchangeable parts?????
Just wondering what parts, if any, from other toyota vehicles would be a direct swap with a SC430 but as an upgrade.
Anyone, anyone????

...you can get serviced @ a toyota dealership, but the Tundra comes available in a 4.0/4.6...both 6 cylinders & a 5.7...which is a v8. I've seen a few write ups, of owners putting this in the SC430. I hope nothing ever happens to my engine, but if I had to replace it, that 5.7 would seriously be considered !!!

So this thread you asked for performance mods using stock parts.
I just did a timing belt job on mine, and yes almost all of the parts are the same part numbers as on the tundra, so you can get a better discount on them from Toyota dealers. However, these are not performance mods. Check the part number at Sewell lexus site, and run the part number at a toyota site. If it comes up, it is the same exact part on some other Toyota. However, if it does not come up as a valid part, then it is on the LEXUS side of the firewall, meaning that that TOYOTA dealers cannot order it even. Anyway, my point is that this will not give you any added performance. Just a part at maybe 10% less price.
