roof creak
I had the same problem, although it sounded like a coin being tapped against the glass right behind my head......it drove me nuts. I went so far as to use a small amplified listening device.
I found the noise to be comming from the area around the trim strip that borders the top of the back windshield. I discovered that a small gap existed in the sealent that is used to hold the glass in place. The glass was tapping against the window frame when the body flexed. The dealer filled the gap and the "tap/creak" is gone.
Hope this helps.

I believe my car also has the "creaking" sound coming from the rear roof area. I say believe because I have not heard it yet although both my wife and son say it is very noticeable to them. Perhaps it is a frequency range I lost around Naval Aircraft years ago.
I did have a squeek in the dash area. Would start while driving on a rough road (most roads in Virginia) and then continue even as the roadsmoothed out. I localized it down to the door that covers the radio. I could actually make it go away by either holding the door or leaving it in the up (open) position. Made three trips to Lexus and could not duplicate the noise. First try was on a very hot day, 2nd on a very wet day, 3rd on a very cold day. Seems the Humidity and or tempreature could also make it vanish. Last week was the perfect day (about 50 degrees F) and no rain. I took it in, they heard the noise on a test drive. The tech pulled the radio and did something (he had said he might use foam on the door mechanism). Noise is now gone.
I might even be able to hear the roof noise now that I am not concentrating on the dash squeek, Need to drive some more.
