Default Pebble Beach Model Number?

I recently bought a 2004 Lexus SC 430 Pebble Beach and to my understanding they only made 500 of each Pebble Beach's, there's no plaque or anything to give me the number between 1 and 500 the only way i can think of is a vin decoder? Please Help.

I thought they only made 400?
They also had the exterior badging as well as a badge riveted to the center console on the flip up cover. I'm sure a dealer could run the VIN and confirm the option.

As previous poster stated, there were only 400 made. Check out this sticky

While the Neiman Marcus editions were numbered the PB plaque on the console is not numbered.

I think some of us SC430 PBers investigated this a while ago and we concluded that we couldn't tell what number out of X our car was BUT we figured out that if you and another member has the same year Pebble Beach Edition, you could tell by the last 4 digits which one was made first in the assembly line.

That and all Pebble Beach Edition during that year was produced in November/December before so that it could be ready to show. Aka all 09 Pebble Beach Editions were made around November/December of 08.

Sorry to "burst your bubble" but there is no way to confirm which PB you have. I have contacted Lexus, gave them my VIN number on my 06-PB and their reply was; "that my PB was manufactured on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 and there is no way we can tell which PB you have."

Albino,

Are you saying that you looked at the vin sticker on your drivers door and there is not an extra number indicating special PB number?

I am saying that I contacted Lexus and they could tell me which day my SC430 was made. They could not tell me which 06-PB it was. Was it number 51 of 500 or 251 of 500? They had no way of knowing.

Congrat, one more 04 PB on the forum!

That No.096 is incorrect, it does not mean its the #96 of the 400. My 04 was No.699...so that's not correct.
