sc430 custom twin loop exhaust... sounds great
i had a borla custom exhaust on here. it sounded good but with the top down you could barely talk without yelling. and the drone was bad. so i read up on the surga speed exhaust which is twin loop... no way was paying that price and they didnt make it for a sc430 anyway i believe. i just bought some twin loop universal exhaust for a mustang off ebay for 114 shipped and figured i would give it a try. my goal was to get a deeper sound but not over bearing when cruising or hwy speed. the drone is zero on the street or hwy. it pretty much goes to almost stock levels. but when you step on the gas or accelerate it comes to life. all i have is a driveway video for now. gonna buy a go pro kit and make a vid of this car driving.
it was pretty hard to get the exhaust to fit but you cant see anything at all once the car is on the ground. they did a good job at the muffler shop i go to
if you are wondering what is a twin loop exhaust and the benefits.... basically is gives you a deeper exhaust note and quiet exhaust when you need it be. you kinda get the best of both worlds.
i still have the stock cat up there. looking to swap it for a high flow cat. i have resonator delete though
enjoy

Thanks , and I used these mufflers

114.99 shipped for both . Very light weight

Theses mufflers will give a tad more sound. I used them on a is350 , a tad more aggressive and have a little more drone . At highway speeds but not as much as most exhaust . Don't really notice drone till 80 mph . But gives a aggressive deep tone under acceleration
119.99
I used some after market tips I had already bought . When they installed the mufflers on my car I had them chop the tips off. We just used the mufflers. The second twin loop muffler listed the tips aren't so bad looking. But muffler still needs to be cut if plan on intalling them so you can't see them. Cause the mufflers aren't mirrored so installing them straight they look weird . But if you aren't that **** you really don't notice that they aren't a mirror image.
I choose to go the route in my pics cause you really can't see the mufflers once the car is on the ground. Just the tips
Not much more details then that besides getting a good muffler shop to help you bend the pipes and weld it up. I was quoted 300 to do the entire exhaust piping from front to back but I got cheap and took the 200 dollar price cause I already had my resonator delete done before this exhaust. So that's why you see stock piping between the resonator and twin loops
It was 50 bucks to get that area done and 50 more to install the high flow cat. I didn't have the cats so I just left it stock. So my install was 200 out the door just twin loop install basically
Next I will be installing some high flow cats. I feel comfortable getting them since the exhaust is quiet at normal speeds. I like loud exhaust but don't want to look obnoxious with a loud exhaust going no where lol
Any other questions feel free to ask
