I dont have kids yet. Maybe thats why i have time for all this detailing

But yeah the car comes fully galvanized from the factory, and when i'm done with all my anti rust spray, the car will be a few kilos heavier but im pretty sure it will never rust

About polishing. Where i bought the polish kit they stated that after using it, there will be a layer of protective film. But i know that polished aluminum needs to get repolished now and then. But i need to have something to do after i finish the car right

A layer of clear coat is not good. Because its now polished and a smooth surface, the clear coat can not adhere. I think it will come off in flakes over time.

What an impressive build! Amazing! Hey did I miss it, but what did you ever do with your center console?

Hi Steve

No, you didnt miss it, but i havent showed anything about it because i want it to be a surprice

But heres a little front bumper update. Like many of you guys in here talked about, it would look more clean with the headlight washers gone. So here goes.

Needed some of the same plastic as the bumber, so figured i would take some pieces from behind the number plate. The finish behind that doesnt matter that much because its not visible, so will just cover the holes with some fiberglass later on.

Sanding, plastic welding, sanding, filler, sanding, filler, sanding, and some spray filler to complete the job.

Almost ready for paint. But i have one more card up my sleeve. Stay tuned

Was the part# of the Cusco strut bar 187 541 A ??

If it is...it states its not for the front, but for the rear.

This still for the front. 187 541 A is type OS, Rollaboy and I have 188 type A - it is a flat Al bar, not an oval tube.

the work you do is some thing else. I needed to get new bumper so I got the 2002 without the washer holes in bumper your right car is much nicer.
