cap on door handle, loose.
Hi everyone. The little cap that runs to the right of the driver's door (right of keyhole) is loose. It is staying on by the right edge, but it just pops up on the left every time the door is closed. Anyone have this issue before?
Any tips on how to fix? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My SC and LS have the same handles. They're not loose on my SC (yet) but on the LS I noticed one was missing. Checked the others and they were loose so I pulled them till I can get some time to work on them.
I was thinking about using epoxy to keep them bonded and on for good; looking for a just the piece you're talking about has been a pain, most want you to buy a full handle set $$$.
You may want to pull it before it decides to fall off. If I end up using an epoxy I'll let you know how it goes!.

I dont know how they are retained (adhesive or mechanical restraint), but for stuff like this I've often turned to Amazing Goop Automotive or similar products meant for outside use (clear, stays flexible like silicone adhesive/sealant, resists temp, water, vibration). Plus you can still take it apart if you discover another fix.
