Default New tires, Front shocks, motor mounts!

So one of my front shocks was blown, my motor mounts needed replacing, and my michelin pilot sport A/S plusses had 40k on them and it was time (though a tad early) to replace those too with same tire.

It rides like a brand new car! Had transmission mount done with shocks and motor mounts at dealer.
Tires at Costco (good price and lifetime balance and rotate free).
Very happy though it set me back 2k. Money well spent? I think so. I was bottoming out every so often which doesnt feel or sound too good. its an 03 with 187k miles on it and running great!

Surprised your shocks lasted that many miles, assuming they were original.

'Lasted' is relative i guess. I think they were original but not sure. Ive had car only about the last 42k miles and the last 20k or so have been unsettling over deep dips. All good now.

Good to know we can get the high mileage with the SC430 if properly maintained.

I am in the market for replacement tires (gotta dump my Pirelli P Zero RFT) and looking at the same Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Yes Costco's running a $70 off on Michelins!

Are these Michelins good? Have not seen too many 45K mile tires for our size.

I want to finally pull the trigger and avoid the contant jarring and noise from the RFT's!

You quick feedback, opinion appreciated. OBP pushed me to the one side of the fence by him getting his set of Conti's NON-RFT's!

I like the tire a lot. Expensive but they're not made in china. I'd also note that i had exceptionally even tire wear. I run them at 37 cold rather then the recommended 32 (tire says up to 51 cold psi).
I've heard a few stories that at 32 psi the edges of tire wear out prematurely (i think edges start out at either 6/32 or 7/32. Center of tire is 10/32)

Surprised? Do we not expect SC430s to last for hundreds of thousands of miles without replacing major components? My SC400 has 320K miles on it and it's got the original everything except the radiator(replaced about 50K miles ago) and the alternator(went bad due to my negligence when I let a small power steering leak go unfixed for a long time).

Yo Mandy, on Mich Pilot Sp AS, ran them on my RL for nearly 40k miles. Great tire. I would say a bit better than my Conti DWS on the SC but also more expensive. But of course apples and oranges cos two different cars....

My SC430 has about 153,000 and still runs new. I haven't changed the motor monts or shocks yet. Something to bring up on my next service date.
