From Magnaflow's site - their stainless cat back for the SC. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=16917
To the OP.... to save yourself some cash, delete your resonators first if you are looking for a better sound. About $50-$60 at a quality muffler shop.

That's what the resonators do, it makes it throaty. I have the resonator delete on my car with different mufflers and it sounds great. If you are looking for the sound of a mustang or camaro, you won't find it with this car.

I was afraid of deleting the resonators also because I didn't want a loud exhaust. I pulled the trigger and I'm happy I did. I only hear the deep throaty sound like husker741 said - up to about 2300RPM. After that I don't hear it all even with the top down. It sounds really good when you accelerate from a stop.

I first went with the muffler delete and replaced it with a pair of universal borla mufflers and less than a week later, I took off the resonators and I've been pretty happy ever since. The loudest it gets is at 1500rpm and after that it sounds pretty smooth.

What about a combination of both, if I deleted the resonators and then added a custom exhaust, would that smooth out the sound, but still keep that deep throaty sound?

I did a resonator delete and it's exactly what I wanted. Growl without being over board. I watched those you tube videos and the only reason it seems harsh is most of the videos are in the garage and off coarse it's gonna sound louder in there. And with the resonator delete I don't get the dreaded drone that you get with most system. Even with the top down.
By adding the custom exhaust all you are achieving is shiny mufflers under the car. And magnifying the sound of no resonator by maybe 1x. Oh and you get some nice exhaust tips .
I paid 80 to delete both resonators and ordered my own magna flow 4 inch exhaust tips for 65 shipped to the door and 15 bucks to weld them on.
