How do I Disable the 5MPH speed sensor prohibiting top operation?
I have disabled the MPH sensor that prevents using the telephone keypad while in motion and disabled the MPH sensor that prevents inputting NAV info while in motion.
(Of course, that is so the PASSENGER can do it. I have both hands on the wheel at all times )
Does anyone know where the top gets its info regarding lockout at >5MPH? I'm not suggesting that I'd use it when at any sort of speed, but it would be nice for the occasional stop/go traffic. People around here honk pretty quickly if you don't go!

There's a speed pulse wire on the multi display module. The wire is a white wire with red stripe and it is located on connector M6-pin4. M6 is the plug on the passenger side of the rear of the display.
My guess is that the top operation module gets the info about the vehicule speed from this wire and if you cut it, you may be able to operate the top at any speed... but I suppose you'll loose the info on MPG and range...
It might also affect the Nav system...

While we are on this topic, has anyone got a PDF etc of the full wiring diagram for the roof mech and controller assys ? i too need the roof to open and close at running pace, as a full stop is just not feasible at times.

Yeah, i would like to know this one as well.. However, i have my Viper Alarm wired to remotely raise and lower the top with one push operation. In fact, its easier for me to push my remote button than to hold the factory button.
