I assume you mean the master key.

the po is mailing to me an old keyfob that the cover is in pieces, but the fob still unlocks the car. If I have that and the valet key, can I program the new transponders?

Not sure if you'll need a master key for the steps listed in key and remote programming described in the thread I've referenced. You only have the valet key, right? and a remote from a different SC430, that you want added to the car's electronic controller?

So I got what appears to be a master key from the Prior Owner in the mail. (THANKS) The bad news is that it is in pieces.... i knew this so I am excited to have something. It is basiclaly the guts of the keyless that actually work the locks of the car (so no clamshell). Also have the blade of the key.

I am now looking on ebay for additional remotes to steal the guts out of and put into a blade type holder to make a second keyfob. Since I did not get the case to this key from the PO, how can I tell what FCC number I need to buy?

Was 2002 all one FCC number that I need to find?
