For those of you that don't live in the midwest and understand my excitement this whole week, it is 80 freaking degrees in mid March! We hit a heat record here in Omaha today. My SC hasn't hit the road without the top down since Sunday. Just another reason to show off this beautiful machine. And with the top down, that exhaust sounds great!

Plasti dip. $6 or $7 from any hardware store.

From Home Depot.

Yep Plasti dip, do a search and see how to do it, it's easy.

I'm wondering how difficult was the rear taillight red tint installation? I'm thinking about it, but I think I'd have trouble with the airbubles, etc.

I had the tint guys at Lexus do it for me.

So I finally did the grill and the badges. Very easy and looks great, but I had a problem with the "SC" badge because it peeled from the letterin. I had to redo it twice now on the SC and now it looks no where near as nice or smooth as the other ones. I'm wondering why that happened? I got te badge nice and clean with alcohol like I did the first time, but it bubbled a bit and doesn't look as nice.

Hi Husker

Shame you have had a problem. Maybe you put the paint on to thick, you just want to do a mist coat first and give it a good 30 minutes to dry before you add the next thin coat. Then put on another after 30 minutes to cover it well, but again not to thick.

Best regards
Steve

As usual very handsome rear! Why are your tips so better looking that ours? Are these OEM?

Thanks Mandy

No not OEM, I have a custom made cat back SS system. Lots of tips to choose from, but I liked these the best. Not to aggressive, but enough to look different.

Best regards
