Default Thanks for the great info!!!!

After much thought I decided to sell my SC . I am starting a new job in a couple of weeks and my commute is going to be much longer. I just couldn't stand the thought of racking up the miles on my pristine, low mileage 2002 and I couldn't afford to keep her as a second car. I miss her already. I wanted to thank everyone in this forum for sharing such great SC tips and tricks. These cars are wonderful to own and drive and it is nice to know the fellow owners and enthusiasts here are top notch as well.

FYI I do have my LuxLink for sale in classifieds if anyone is interested.

Why didn't you keep the SC and buy a $1500 beater to commute in?

I would probably just turn the SC into a driver and use it up until there wasn't anything left. Like in a couple of hundred thousand miles. Think of all the fun you could have if you keep her. Just my thoughts. Good luck on whatever avenue you decide to travel.

I use my 2002 for 100 miles daily commute. It is a 10 years old car for gods sake.

I know I could have easily put the miles on it, but I didn’t WANT to.I bought it with 35k miles on it and had only added about 7k miles in 18 months. My husband thought I was crazy for feeling bad about it too. I also didn't want to drive to and from work in a beater, I will admit it is partly an image thing partly a safety thing. Meh, personal preference I suppose.

Is gas mileage also an issue for daily trips?
