Got a new antenna for my 02 sc430. When loading the plastic cable into the antenna hole on the car the cable came detached from the antenna and was pulled down into the car. What to do?

Search for the TSB on antenna replacement in this forum...tells you the steps to eject it

Youre probably going to have to take out the motor.....on ebay some antenna vendors have instructions with "what ifs"...for example in case the old antenna leaves a piece of the plastic inside etc it tells you what to do... ive seen them

i just got my replaced at lexus for $200. some low-life broke the antenna off cuz i parked too close to his jalopy (i think). part was easily in stock..took an hour. also had trunk struts replaced but do not recommend as struts were $200 each + $100 install. ebay has aftermarkets for <than $80 for both struts. so,good deal on antenna...bad on struts.
