Can you get back to the telephone screen after displaying map? (2006+)

Here's the scenario: I'm on the phone and the display has the dial pad. Then I go to the map. At that point, how can I get back to the dial pad screen? If I press the phone button on the steering column, it disconnects the call. Can this be done?

I have the same problem too...frustrating. I've hung up on several important people! My infiniti has lots more controls to go back, to map, etc. on it. Maybe another case of our extinct tech in our cars?
