In my last thread i was telling you guys of mods i will be doing. i blacked out sidemarkers & reverse light i wanted to do taillights but i messed it up so i didnt attempt to redo it( got the paint off intime). i also blacked out my wheels and grill with plasti-dip and added led drl's .

if anyone is attempting any of thise here is a word of advice. mask mask and mask off as much as possible.if you can take the lights out would be better.

Reminds me a bit of a totally murdered out SL500 I saw yesterday. Not something I'd do personally, but you gotta give it to those that go that way, it's a LOOK for sure!

my wheel covers paint was chipping so i figured it cant look worse. also the plasti-dip is bassicly plastic that you spray. if at anytime i dont want it i can peel it off.

Thanks for the pics... I always wondered what those wheels and grill would look like in black... I'll stick with chrome for the wheels but I like the grille. Side markers don't bother me but I did the rear badges and I love it!

you should do the chrome parts of the grill as well. i did and it looks like a new front end.

i was about to but you have to mask off the whole hood and car because it will get on my car.i wanted to do the rear badges but i was getting tired.

It was really easy.

you will need

led's
3M automotive adhesive tape
wrench or small screw driver
electric tape
wire striper

turn the wheel to the oppisit side. you will see a screw in the fender well. take it out .
now go under the front bumper and take out 3 screws holding the plastic shrouding to the bumper. dont worry it wont fall of.
now go into the wheel well and start pushing the plastic cover so it pops out.
you will see the sidemarker light . unscrew the fixture from the light.
take your wire stripper and carfully strip part of the wire .strip as far away from the socket as possible. i didnt cut the wire i just stripped it . make sure you do the same. the wire with the black line is ground and the other is positive.
There is a hole thre the bumper gills right next to the foglight you can snake the wire threw.
glew it and your done.
this will take you no more than 30 min.
