Sometimes I find it hard to believe my SC430 is a 2002



Washed and waxed both of them over the weekend, drove my SC downtown and had a craving for hotdog.

Stopped in front of the hotdog cart and everyone was looking at the car for some reason... I didn't expect that at all, one guy came to me and said, "that's a really sick car man!" I was like er.... thanks!

Does that happen to you guys a lot? I'm guessing this is just random... But another day before that; a blondie came up to me and said, "No wonder you're a nice guy... You drive a Lexus!" I was laughing and told her she is nice too :P

I've had similar experiences. It just goes to reinforce the thought that it is a timeless head turner straight out of the box that stands the test of time.

Got similar compliments daily with top down.

But in NYC, there's also unfriendly compliments too.......recent one was entering the mall with top down, the Fusion in the front stop to let a guy with kids walk accross, this guy wave and want the cars to pass first, then he pop the F&%$^# words when I pass by. What a hater!!

Another time a guy in a hyundai genesis sedan drive on the opposite direction YELL "BOOM" when he drive by, it's was one of those jealous, and unfriendly one. Another hater

I'm a patient driver, but this one pissed me off....... A minivan did a U-turn infront of me that almost cause a accident. He then decide to drive 20mph on the left lane. I horned to let him know that he drive way too slow, he ignore it and driver even slower. Another idiot, so I decide to hit the gas and pass him on the right. While I stop on the traffic light, this minivan pulled next to me and a Asain guy staring at me and as soon as he saw I'm Asian, he pull the van 1/4 into my lane and start B&*t#hing. I immediately yelling back and I kind of hear he said something like "What F* are you horning at...you not the only A*hol drive a nice car....I don;t give a dam....I'll beat the crap of u if you get off the car." So I got out of the car as he wished. Well, they decide to drove off when the ligth turn green and the car behind blowing their horn and a African American guy yelling at them. I gotta be honest that if this Asian guy didn't see I'm Asian, he wouldn't said a thing. I'm 100% gurrantee this dude would seat back and pretend nothing happen if a African American does that to them. I hate when these sucker only have gutz to pick-on their on race.

No compliments at all here. NOthing short of a lambo/Ferrari/exotic draws a compliment here. SC430, vettes , porsches, high end Bimmers and Benzes are a dime a dozen.

There are alot of high end cars in my area but the car still gets attention, that being said though when I bought my IS250 a guy in a truck with his wife pulled up to me and said he would trade me his car with his wife for my 250...it was hillarious, nothing like that yet with the sc but then again it's my lady's DD not my own but i do take it out every now and then.

pulling out of qdoba tonight, a guy just stood and watched my 02 put the top down, and then said "thats a really really nice car!" then last night, two audi salesman told me i have a beautiful car and said that i need to come see them for a new car. my response... i don't really think i need to share that with you all. you can probably guess how i responded
