Default Traded my SC 430 yesterday

Well, it's not like I wanted to but life's circumstances can change quickly. Got diagnosed with cancer, had surgery, wife left, stuck with big house and mortgage and had to do something quick. Went to the local Honda dealer yesterday and traded my beautiful '07 Black Saphire/Ecru/Walnut for a ...you ready for this?....2011 Honda CRZ Hybrid. It's not like I wanted to but they made me a good deal...got $34K on a trade and paid $35K 7 months ago, cut my payment in half for half as long, doubled my mpgs, and expect I will save some on insurance. Not exactly the time to be selling a house, but whenever I get out from under I may buy another 430...the timing of all this just sucked, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Anyhow, some day I hope to be back among the SC430 owners. In the meantime, the satisfaction of having owned one and some good memories will have to do. Bummer, huh?

I feel for you, and will hoist one in your honor. Once you get through the rough spots and back on your feet, come back. We'll save a seat for you. After all, family is family.

Good luck man.

You will be back on your feet in no time, and its just a car, you will be able to get another one soon! Your health is most important and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that.

You did the right thing to trade it in for another car that is more suitable for your financial situation.
You can always get the sc430 back at a cheaper price in the future.

Good luck to ya roller. It could happen to any of us (well the cancer thing, the wife thing already happened to me lol.) When you're ready to jump back in, who knows, one of us may be looking for a CRZ. Hope you can get the mortgage taken care of. I went from a 5 BR house to a 2-BR apt, got rid of a truckload of junk, and am just as happy with a heckuva a lot less.

Just to chime in, are all (most) American wives like that? Pretty sad indeed.
