Default Front end squeak help please

Ever since I went with 20s I have had vibration, but not so much that I can live with it. Just got a new job increasing my commute from 18 miles a day to 135. On a pretty flat interstate LB is making the same noise I used to make on my squeeky dorm room bed with my best girl. Only difference is lucky makes that noise for more than three minutes at 80mph.

Please Help!

Where is the squeak coming from? Interior, exterior...
Is it only on bumpy or rolling roads or smooth ones also?

Semi-Smooth road sounds like it may be struts. The car shimmys a bit at 80mph. Definitely in the suspension. I know if I take it to lexus they are going to blame my wheels it really sounds like a mattress in action, not too loud. It is an old car but still..

Does it only squeak at higher speeds? Have you ruled out the belt?

Try pushing down on the front end when parked and see if you can create the noise? You might be able to track it down that way.

I took the sc for a round trip to cali, about 1200 miles, and when I hit the small town of Ripon and those brick lined streets all I could hear is squeak squeak squeak.I returned home, greased the sway bar bushings and the sc is as quiet as new. Good luck with the squeaks!

if you didnt go with a custom wheel.. you may need a hub ring adapter which is a little round spacer designed to fill the narrow gap between the diameter of the hub of your new rims and the diameter of the factory hub. Without it it can cause vibrations at certain speeds that will be felt in the steering wheel. Its a cheap fix around $10 that you can get from a knowledgeable rim shop.
