what would you like to see in the 2004?
Here's what i would like to see in the 2004
- much higher HP
- bi xenon lights
- ventilated seats
- 1 touch roof option
(so you dont have to hold the button the whole time)
- bigger better wheels
- tighter suspension and lowered
- integrated phone
(current phone is very complex, apparently)
- tiptronic ala F1 (the real deal)
- more color options
- alcantara roof liner and dash
- bigger brakes
if i think of anything else..
I wonder if it would be possible to make a list and have it delivered to lexus so they can take a look.
even if they dont add anything im still getting an 04

- More HP.
- An explanation of what the heck "alcantara" is.
- A cappuccino maker.
- A wet bar.
Forget the tiptronics, the lowering and all the race car stuff. We're talking about a "Grand Tourer" not an F1.

alcantara is like a suede material
they have it in the ls430 ultra luxury edition
btw the sl500 and 55 are grand tourers and they have great suspension and tiptronics is a far cry from race car stuff
whats wrong with making it a little more responsive
it will always be a grand tourer..

I really don't care cuz I have a 2002 but a HP bump would be nice.
I'll tell you something I really DO NOT want to see and that is a SC330 coupe only or coupe/convertible!!! Lexus should keep it a SC430 or SC450 or whatever but PLEEEEAAAASAEEEEE no 6 cylinder model.

Oh yeah, turn signal mirrors would be cool ( I don't know why they didn't make them from the beginning, thanx genearch ) and clear/red taillights w/ amber bulbs instead of the current amber/red ones.

There's only one thing I would really want in a new SC - a manual transmission. I would seriously consider trading my 2002 which has only 4,000 miles for an SC with a 5- or 6-speed.

WOW
Jeeezz.
Turn signals in the mirrors?
If that's all this car needs to get better, it's pretty darn good.
I can't think of anything for this list, except for maybe a pretty passenger.

hmmm...
I know I'll probably hear it now BUT I'd love to see one in Solar Yellow with black leather interior... and I may even be wowed into a trade in for a Yellow 2004 if they build it! Don't get me wrong, I love my red SC but I've yet to own a Yellow car and I keep seeing my other Half's Yellow Boxster S and it just calls to me (the color that is).....

I'd like to see:
- Lower to the ground
- All aluminum body
- Move the engine to the rear
- Get rid of the back seat
- Add a six speed short throw shifter
- Change the rims to 6 spoke
- Perforated leather upholstery
- Put the spare in the front along with the battery and the A/C unit
- Pop up headlights
- Formula 1 handliing
- Hand build the engine and body
- Titanium suspension components
They could call it the Toyota NSX !
