Hello,
I have a 2003 SC430 and I can't seem to get the top to retract. I verified the interior trunk cover is securely in place. I also checked all of the fuses in the trunk. I did noticed the trunk lock lid release will not work when I press the button on the dash but the trunk lid release works just fine when using the key fob remote button. I checked the dash mounted trunk release button with an ohm meter and it has good continuity.
I did read the most recent thread but this seems to be a different issue. My local Lehigh Lexus dealer is horribly to work with, so before I consider taking it there, I was hoping you may have some suggestions. Thanks for all of your help.

Hello,
Well after reading more hardtop issues related threads, I decided to manually open the close the top and now it seems to work. Hope this helps someone else.
