Fitting
When I purchased these, I was worried that the depth wouldn't fit. I can tell you that it does when paired with an adapter. There is a lot of space in the front of the speaker and limited space in the rear. I added two adapters on each speaker and it fit perfectly.

Bass 8.5
The bass on these are adequate. While it's there and it is huge upgrade on my blown 6X9s in sound. There seems to be a bit of loss in deep and richness of the Bass. it think this is related to the change from 6X9s. I believe that similarly priced 6X9s tend to have a deep bass to them than 6.5s. These are inexpensive and they sound great but I definitely hear more punch than bass.

Cost 9.0
I spent 80.00 on two speakers including shipping. Much better than the $200+ for the other 8ohms 6X9s I have seen on the web.

Sound 8.0
I think our factory speakers are tuned perfectly. The issues with the sound really comes from cheap glue applied to the 6X9s. Changing to these 6.5, definitely created mixed results. The system is no longer sync'd and my new 6.5s hit harder than the rest of the speakers. It's no longer noticeable, but I remember feeling that I could not pick up singers, rappers and the voice channel as cleanly as before do to the base being louder. I no longer notice it

Final 8.0
The price of these speakers are a major driving force for someone looking to simply replace the blown lows. They are a slight step down in overall quality of sound, although the overall system is now louder (imho). If you are looking for A+ sound these are not for you. If you simply looking for great but not exceptional speakers at a low price...these are a solid fit.

No problem.
The speakers themselves aren't bad. They are pretty good. They are an upgrade in quality and volume over the stocks. However, because they are 6.5, they don't seem to hit the lowest of lows as much as new stock speakers. If you wanted to upgrade give them a try.
