mandyfig, You may heve seen my update on the MGP covers so I just got back from looking at various paint options at a couple of auto part stores. The more I looked the more confused I got so figured I'd better do more research before choosing which option to go with. I only want to have to do this once...also noticed several of the paints specified humidity lower than 50% and temps less than 90 degrees F when applied. That's a problem here in Florida right now. lol May just put this off till fall when it cools down a bit. Also may look into just having it done at a shop since I will have to do one wheel at a time otherwise and don't want the car tied up for a long period of time since it is my daily driver.

rcroller, I did one side of my car on a saturday, then I did the other side on sunday. It took about 6 hours per side, I started in the morning.

You could buy and install some wheel spacers, so that way your caliper covers will fit.

If you are planning on black, the high temp paint (barbeque grill paint) I recommended is pretty much flexible. 90 degrees with high humidity should not be a problem. It is quick drying, too. In 5 minutes it is dry to touch.

OMG! So nice Mandy!

That looks way too tedious for an ADHD patient like me and too much time. I think I am going to do the red covers instead. Wow

It was going to be a lot of work, so I did a short cut, only painted the area where the stickers would go. Otherwise would have been a pain and would have required to take off the caliper to get to the nooks and crannies, which I did on my TL.

Speakers first. Then spacers, caliper painting, with decal.

You seldom see plain calipers without the makers name on it nowadays, on the high end cars.
