I installed the tail ights and the ECU. Unfortunately, the tail lights don't work for turn signals. They work for braking and then you turn the car on, but other than that no turn signal! further, the front head lights blink extremely fast when the turn signal is on. I'm baffled. Any ideas anyone?

When this happens, its usually a burnt out bulb.

might be a dumb question.. but if you bought it from lexus... bulbs usually dont come with it... so.. is there a bulb in place? .

Great write up! I have a question though. Hopefully someone can chime in with an answer. I need to remove the tail lights to put sound deadener behind them, getting some rattles from the new trunk subwoofer. I do not need to disconnect the harness, so do I really need to remove all the trunk liners? Or only the "single bolt" at the trunk lid trim? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Shawn, no you don't. The clip/and bolt on the boarder of the lens holds it in place, along with pins to align the taillight to keep it in place.

I just ordered error free, no resistor tail/brake light and turn signal LED's from ijdmtoy dot com. Once I install them and confirm that there is no dash error light, I will report back. Another member also did an awesome mod using angel eyes... something to think about.

Shawn, can you link to what you bought? I need turn signals LEDs to go with the angel eyes when I do them, I still have the incandescent bulbs there...
