Have you used other brand parts for Timing Belt, water pump etc replacement?
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has used other brand parts for the Timing Belt replacement? I know someone else on CL used a Goodyear brand for the belt but what other brands for the timing belt, water pump, serp belt, tensioners and idler pulleys?

I have no issues using Goodyear products for something like the serpentine accessory belt. I would not want to worry about an aftermarket timing belt, tentioners, pullys. The time down to replace it is several hours at least and about a grand at the stealerhip. In addition, SC430 is an interference engine, if the belt snaps, all sorts of damage is possible. If you did have an aftermarket timing belt failure, who's responsible?
