Rim help
Hi guys
i just got a set of rims, they are work vs-xx 18x8 offset 38 front and 18x9 offset 38 rear. My problem is who makes the best spacer to fit our 60.1 hub and fit the 73 hub on my new rims. Also what size spacer do i need to have for the wheels to still fit in the wheel wells nicely or should i just get hub center rings. I still would like to be some what conservative.
Regards

You should definitely get hubcentric rings, those metal ones.
The Work's 38 offset is already more aggressive than the stock wheel's 45 offset, pushing the wheels out by 7mm in the front and 20mm in the back.

Put your wheels on without the spacers, drive your car for a week or two, going over bumps and driveway inclines, you will know how the wheels react. The fronts can be tricky since the wheels also turn,do you have coilovers? The sc430 sits incredibly high stock,it also handles poorly because of its stance. If your stock and you use your new wheels ,you maybe dissapointed, handeling will improve but not by much, and the use of spacers may still cause rubbing when hitting chuckholes or other uneven road surfaces.Good luck and give us an update.

guys
here the hole deal, i was thinking on having custom made adapters made by motorsport- tech they do anything to do with wheels. the adapters would be made 60.1 to fit our hubs and 73 to fit my work rims. 25mm adapters making the front 13mm and 13mm rear with my 38mm offset. the tires are the stock tires 245x40x18. will this fit in the wheel wells or is it a problem.
all help needed

Go to tirerack.com and check out the wheel offset section. There is an instruction to measure how much you can push out the wheels. Use that as your basis for the spacers if you want to install those.
You don't want your wheels sticking out the fender. It looks ugly and can cause rubbing problems. Just make the wheels flush with the fender.
