That is an interesting article. The wheels also are great percussion instruments, as I tap my wedding right while the Mark Levinson is blaring and get great sound. I'm sure they had some engineer work on that.

The article says there are two types of steering wheels, one solid-carved, the other wood-finished. I'm figuring that ours is the solid-carved, but can anyone confirm that for sure?

SC430 steering wheel is solid wood. Wood covered steering wheel cracks after a number of years.
